This boutique retail travel agency located in the Hill's District is seeking a Retail Travel Consultant to join their small "high end" agency. Your role will involve booking Domestic and International travel arrangements for the leisure, adventure and luxury travel clientele. If you understand people's special needs and interests and can arrange both simple and complex itineraries for short and long haul destinations then this travel company is wanting to speak with you. Interviews taking place asap!
Your day to day duties as a travel consultant include:
- Offering the highest level of customer service to leisure, adventure and luxury travel clients face to face, over the phone or via email
- Booking travel arrangements including airfares, hotels and cars. This is a one stop shop so adding on tours, transfers & insurance is a must!
- Arranging special requests including seat requests, frequent flyer and meals.
This retail travel consultant position involves face to face consulting so excellent communication skills and a professional manner is a must to apply for this position!
To apply for this travel consultant position you must have the following skills and experiences:
- At least 2 years working in a travel consulting position within Australia
- Recent working experience on CRS
- Ticketing experience is an advantage
- Ability to work under pressure, and have a strong attention to detail with a positive attitude
