Within travel, the conference and events team will book the arrangements for the event or conference, meaning that as a Travel Consultant you will need groups experience. C&M Travel Recruitment work with many of the major corporate and leisure travel companies across Australia to provide conference and events staff solutions.

A Conference and Events Consultant will work alongside the Conference and Events team to book the requested travel arrangements. This can involve working within the groups department or on your own to organise all aspects of the event including accommodation, transport, meals and entertainment. Some roles will require attendance to the events you organise. You will utilise nett and published fares and you must have knowledge of a CRS.

The Events Manager will liaise with potential and existing clients to advise and negotiate service provision. You will manage all events, conferences and sports events to ensure the provision meets the customer expectations, as well as managing the sales and budgeting process and submitting reports accordingly. You will also be expected to attend all events, or to ensure that a suitably qualified and competent member of staff manages them. You must have excellent time management and organisational skills for this role and have had previous events experience.
