How Long Do Temporary Jobs Typically Last?

The beauty of temporary work is its flexibility - that's why C&M Travel Recruitment has assignments ranging anywhere from one day to one year and sometimes more. This means you can take leave at any time with adequate notice.

Some temporary roles will allow you to take time off in the middle of a long-term assignment with a guaranteed job when you return, while some may not, so speak to your consultant when you're planning to take a break.

How Do I Get Paid?

If you're considering a temporary job, then presumably you want to earn money, so this part is worth paying particular attention to! First of all, you must have an Australian bank account because your timesheet will be paid directly into it. Secondly, you should ensure that your timesheet reaches the C&M payroll department by 10am each Monday morning to make sure you're paid on time. What Are The Benefits Of Temping With C&M?

As a temp, you get paid for each hour that you work (although you don't get paid for breaks or lunch) and any overtime payments are at the discretion of your manager. If you're expecting to work any extra hours, then make sure you inform C&M in advance about any additional pay arrangements, otherwise a basic rate will be paid.
